ACA International Education Foundation

WHAT WE DO:

The ACA International Education Foundation - the philanthropic arm of ACA International, The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals - coordinates several programs to help members give back to the communities where they work and live. The ACA International Education Foundation strives to increase financial literacy through research, education, job training and public relations initiatives.

WHAT WE OFFER:

National Credit Education Week

The ACA International Education Foundation holds its annual public service campaign, National Credit Education Week, during the third week in April. The campaign informs consumers that, when used wisely, credit can be a positive tool for achieving their financial goals. (http://www.nationalcrediteducationweek.com)

Collectors Challenge

In April, members of ACA International and their employees participate in activities designed to promote financial literacy education in their communities.

The STAR Center

The ACA International Education Foundation supports The STAR Center's Receivables Management Training Program. The STAR Center serves as a model demonstration, resource, training and placement center, dedicated to ensuring that all individuals with disabilities or other special needs maximize their potential for independence and achieve their personal goals of employment, effective learning and independent living, through assistive technology, assistive aids and support services.

WHAT WE NEED:

The ACA International Education Foundation has made a strong commitment to help promote financial literacy in the community. We are looking to build awareness of our initiatives and expand the reach and distribution of our program materials.

WHAT'S NEW:

Personal Financial Management Web Course

The ACA International Education Foundation offers a free, interactive Web course dedicated to help consumers learn how to use credit wisely and better manage their finances.
