Experian recently completed an update of its consumer credit education materials. You can find them in the Jump$tart Coalition Clearinghouse.

If you would like printed and bound copies of the booklets or brochures, please indicate so in your request and we will contact you for details on how we can provide them. If large quantities are needed, it may be necessary to work together to achieve a cost-sharing agreement.
 
The following materials are currently available:

  • 12 Common Questions about Consumer Credit and Direct Marketing: a pocket-sized booklet that answers the most common questions about credit reporting and direct marketing.
  • The Basics of Credit Scoring: a booklet that explains the fundamentals of credit scoring and what consumers need to know to ensure they have the best scores possible.
  • The Experian Credit Crossroads series: brochures that address life events that impact a person's credit. There are currently three brochures available:
  • Divorce and Credit - Be sure you know the rules of the game: This brochure provides information about how to protect your credit report as you go through the difficult process of divorce.
  • Home Buying and Credit - Is your credit on Solid Ground?: This brochure provides information you should consider about your credit when planning to buy a house.
  • New Credit - Do you know how to play your cards right?: This brochure provides tips and information for people who are just beginning to establish credit or who are trying to rebuild their credit after suffering financial difficulties.
