
WHAT WE DO:
Young Americans Center for Financial Education in Denver, Colorado, provides hand-on programs and real-life experiences that build life skills, work skills and financial self-sufficiency in youth.
Our tagline, "Money smarts for kids, money skills for life," expresses our goal of educating them at a young age so they are positioned to make wise financial choices in the future. It also portrays the continuum of relevant programs we offer.
Since 1987 more than 435,000 youth up to age 22 have participated in our programs.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Classes and Programs
From 30-minute classes for toddlers to 90-minute Saturday workshops for teens, our classes and programs focus on a range of financial topics from saving to budgeting to credit-readiness.
Summer Camp Programs
Our summer programs reach 2nd to 8th graders with hands-on lessons that prepare participants for a culminating event that brings learning to life. Topics range from money management to entrepreneurship.
School-Based Curricula
Our school-based programs provide teachers with lesson plans and materials that prepare students for a relevant hands-on experience. Our flagship programs include:
Young Americans Bank
We are home to the only real bank in the world designed specifically for young people-an amazing "learning lab" that teaches financial responsibility using real bank products.
Collaborating Opportunities
Young Americans collaborates with numerous organizations, developing programs for youth of all ages on a variety of financial topics.

Get aHead for Business, our newest program, is already being taught in 52 high schools. We are thrilled with the reception from business teachers from urban and rural communities across Colorado!
