Since 2008, the Louisiana Jump$tart Coalition, in an effort to inspire Louisiana youth to become more financially savvy, has sponsored a Financial Literacy Poster Contest. Our poster contest is a great way to get young students thinking about how to manage money effectively and offers them a creative outlet to demonstrate their knowledge. It offers the opportunity for local and state recognition for student artwork and rewards winners with a recognition plaque and a $100 cash prize.
We have an Elementary, Middle and High School winner. This year 257 poster entries were submitted from school districts across the state. We congratulate these student winners on clearly showing in art form the benefits of “Investing in Me”, our poster them for this year.
