Among ACA International's major initiatives is the ACA International Education Foundation.Founded in 1995, the ACA International Education Foundation (ACAEF) is a Minneapolis-based 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. It is the philanthropic arm of ACA International. ACAEF exists to promote the goal of increasing financial literacy in the United States. Our efforts have included AskDoctorDebt.com, National Credit Education Week, distribution of youth financial literacy kits, annual post-secondary scholarship and modest grantmaking. In April 2009, ACAEF launched AskDoctorDebt.com, a free, award winning, web-based resource (English and Spanish) to help consumers find answers to debt questions and better understand their rights. Supported by more than 125 media interviews with a reach of 25 million consumers, AskDoctorDebt.com attracts thousands of visitors per month. Building off its success, ACAEF is now significantly upgrading AskDoctorDebt.com to better serve consumer needs.
