Process of Accepting Materials into the Jump$tart Clearinghouse Database
Resource provider submits a completed online Submission Form and sends a hard copy or direct online link to the Clearinghouse Manager. Resource provider must give the reviewer access to password-protected programs.
If the staff determines that a resource does not meet the required criteria, the resource is then reviewed by a Second Review Task Force of Jump$tart’s Education Committee. A majority vote decides the issue.
If the resource is accepted, it is entered into the database and the submitter is notified by email that the resource is listed, and is invited to review the entry for accuracy. The process is normally completed within two to four weeks.
To help maintain the database, an annual update survey is sent to each resource provider regarding accuracy of their resource data. If no response to the survey is received after a second reminder, the resource may be removed from the database.
