Committees
The North Carolina Jump$tart Coalition has formed the following committees in order to achieve its goals.
Communications
Manages public relations and communications activities for the
coalition, including media relations, member publications and Web site
administration
Chairperson: OPEN
Education
Assess NC's current personal finance education status and reaches out
to educators concerning available curriculum and programs (ie. teacher
training, events & seminars). Also, the committee tracks financial
literacy activity in the school systems.
Chairperson: Leigh Brady, State Employee?s Credit Union, & John Meeks, FDIC
Membership
Cultivates relationships among coalition members and aids in retention
of current members.The committee evaluates the comprehensiveness of the
coalition's membership while reaching out to new and potential members.
