2012 Virginia Financial Literacy Summit was held on October 8, 2012

This year's theme was "The Game of Life." The event focused on financial literacy and planning skills that teachers need as well as classroom resources. Attendees received tools to help students with the high school graduation requirement in economics and personal finance that took effect during the fall of 2011. • Location: Richmond Marriott Hotel
• Cost: FREE event, including complimentary continental breakfast and lunch ($50 value for food/beverage alone!)
• Audience: Participants to include up to 250 middle and high school administrators and teachers
