You won't want to miss the 7th Annual Common $ense Conference on March 15 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in South Burlington. We have some great new workshops for you this year! You will learn about educational--and fun--online games like Smartstock.com, the mathematics behind money management, how to teach your students to read a credit report . . . and more!
This year's keynote speaker is Murray Banks, educator, athlete and trainer. He is a well-known motivational speaker and brings his engaging humor to the topic, "The trouble with the future is, it's not what it used to be!" Murray draws on his teaching skills, athletic success and business savvy to engage an audience and weave a message that is easily applicable to your personal life. We're sure you'll enjoy his perspective on financial literacy.
We will end the conference with Colin Ryan of the Economy of Me. Sponsored by the Association of Vermont Credit Unions, Colin uses his talent as a stand-up comic to connect with students across the state and take the "boring" out of budgeting and using credit. His presentation, "Money in the Movies" is sure to end the conference on a high note.
