Financial Planning Days

WHO WE ARE:

Financial Planning Days is a groundbreaking national initiative that unites the collective resources of the financial planning community and city governments nationwide to deliver free, no-strings-attached financial advice and education to the public through a series of Financial Planning Day events around the country.

Financial Planning Days is organized by four national, non-profit organizations – Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Financial Planning Association, Foundation for Financial Planning and The U.S. Conference of Mayors.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Each local Financial Planning Day event features dozens of professional financial planners volunteering their time and expertise to meet with individuals and families one-on-one to provide free personalized advice on a variety of financial topics, including – budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, investing, income taxes, insurance, estate planning, and many more.  The events also feature free classroom-style workshop presentations addressing key personal finance topics.

Best of all, it’s all free and there are no strings attached – all financial planners are participating as volunteers and they do not sell products or services, or give out business cards!

WHAT WE NEED:

We are seeking national and local partners to help promote Financial Planning Days to their constituents and the general public. We want as many people as possible to benefit from ethical and unbiased financial advice these events will offer, especially in today’s uncertain economy.  Various promotional materials are available to help get the word out.
