H & R Block Dollars & Sense is committed to increasing teens' financial fitness because we believe that helping students understand money is an investment in everyone's future. To help empower students for a strong financial future, H & R Block donates personal finance curriculum to high schools nationwide. By guiding an avatar through financial situations online students are exposed to real world financial decision without the real world consequences. Program Services:
In addition to curriculum grants for high schools, H & R Block distirbutes more than $50,000 in college scholarships annually to students who demonstrate financial acumen in the H & R Block Dollars & Sense National Challenge. Through this competition we hope to show participating students that learning money management can be both fun and rewarding. In additin, our website provides insight from experts on achieving financial fitness and broaching this often-difficult topic with teens.
