InVEST

InVEST is a grassroots program that teams high school and/or college educators with representatives from the insurance industry to provide insurance instruction, exposure to an insurance environment and insurance career opportunities to students. With the help of InVEST liaisons (agency professionals), students could have the opportunity for job shadow days, internships or even job offers after they become an InVEST graduate. A nationally administered program that is implemented at the local level, InVEST traces its history back over 40 years.
Mission Statement InVEST's mission is to improve the insurance literacy of students and to attract new talent into the insurance industry.

Benefits:
For students, InVEST provides knowledge of the insurance industry, scholarship awards, career opportunities and consumer education;
For teachers, InVEST provides course guidance, support, Free classroom materials and links to the insurance community;
For the insurance industry, InVEST develops a feeder system of entry level recruits, knowledgeable consumers and public relations opportunities.

Funding: InVEST is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) educational trust funded solely through tax deductible contributions by insurance companies, foundations, and organizations dedicated to the education and development of entry-level recruits for insurance.
