National Consumers League was formed in 1899 and works to identify, protect, represent and advance the economic and social interest of consumers and workers, using education, research, science, investigation, publications and the public and private sectors to accomplish that mission.
National Consumers League sponsors LifeSmarts: The Ultimate Consumer Challenge -- a consumer education program for middle school and high school students. Other programs include Child Labor Coalition, Alliance Against Fraud in Telemarketing, Fraud Center, SOS Rx, and many other projects and publications.
