Each year Jump$tart publishes a wall calendar featuring its 12 Principles of Financial Literacy for young people. With support from generous sponsors, Jump$tart is able to distribute copies of the two-sided calendar at no cost, upon request.

In coordination with the Virginia Council on Economic Education, Jump$tart offers mini-lessons for teaching the 12 financial principles that every young person should learn.
How to Raise a Money $mart Child: A Parent’s Guide
How to Raise a Money $mart Child is an updated version of a popular 2003 guide for parents and teachers, featuring articles by a variety of Jump$tart partners. The guide includes articles on budgeting, allowances, needs and wants, banking services, savings accounts, balancing a checkbook, obtaining credit, credit reports, insurance, mutual funds and financing college. Note that How to Raise a Money $mart Child is now out of print; but may still be downloaded as a .pdf file.
