Authorization:
On June 14, 2006,
the New Hampshire State Board of Education approved the Revised NH
Curriculum Frameworks in Science and Social Studies to include the
grade level expectations for grades K-8 and grade span expectations for
high schools. He motion was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board
present, with the Chairman voting.
Curriculum:
Ed 306.27(m) identifies
20 credits required for graduation, to include ½ credit of Economics.
The Revised NH Curriculum Frameworks standard SS:EC:6 specifies that
Students will be able to explain the importance of money management,
spending credit, saving, and investing in a free market economy.
