Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference
The SFEPD, Inc. Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference is held during the fall of each year. The conference brings together leaders in the field of financial literacy to develop effective strategies and create partnerships to address the issues that have been broadly discussed in various forums. The primary goal of the conference is to create a forum for leaders of Federal, state, local, corporate, consumer groups, community-based organizations, schools, colleges/universities, financial institutions, other interested organizations and individuals to  "roll-up" their sleeves to expand the process to enhance the level of financial literacy at all levels of the American society. The theme of our Fourth Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference is "Financial Literacy in Practice." Conference speakers will showcase effective financial literacy programs that are operational and share with conference attendees how they can fine-tune their existing programs to ensure intended outcomes.

The conference will also include new information and strategies that all financial educators should be aware of in the implementation of financial literacy programs, as well as fundraising strategies to ensure sustainability of their programs. Of course, as many of you know the conference serves as powerful forum for networking and establishment of partnerships. The conference will be held on October 3-4, 2011 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202.
