Hill Day 2017

Honorary Co-Hosts: Reps. Steve Stivers (R-OH) and Joyce Beatty (D-OH)

Each year, members of Congress serve as honorary co-hosts for the event. This year, we thank our co-hosts Rep. Steve Stivers (R-OH) and Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH), who also co-chair the Financial and Economic Literacy Caucus.

Hill Day 2017

Financial Literacy Day on Capitol Hill was Friday, April 28, 2017, from 12-3 p.m. in Rooms 2043-2045 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Every year, Hill Day is open to the public.

The event is held in conjunction with the House Financial and Economic Literacy Caucus and features approximately 50 financial literacy exhibits, a buffet lunch, and remarks by elected officials and other dignitaries. Hill Day typically attracts 500 people including Members of Congress and their staffs, leaders of the financial literacy community, and members of the general public.

Hill Day’s goal is to introduce Capitol Hill and the general public to the strides Jump$tart Coalition and its partners have made in the financial literacy effort; to the most effective programs and resources available now; and to the diversity of organizations and individuals who are working together toward shared goals.
