WHAT WE OFFER

The Foundation’s signature program Cha-Ching Money Smart KidsTM reaches more than 1.5 million elementary students annually through Junior Achievement USA and Discovery Education. Cha-Ching equips 7 to 12-year-olds with the knowledge, tools and practice they need to make informed financial decisions to reach their own personal goals and dreams. These students, mainly ages 7 through 12, are learning the basic financial skills we all use every day that allow us to—Earn, Spend, Save and Donate! Visit www.cha-chingusa.org to view Cha-Ching music videos, classroom lessons and family activities.

WHAT WE NEED

This fall, teachers and parents are invited to take the Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Pledge Challenge for the chance to win $10,000 for your school and an additional $1,000 to donate to the school’s charity of choice. The pledge challenge is open now and runs through December 13 and allows parents and teachers to make a pledge to teach young people how to Earn, Save, Spend and Donate!

WHAT’S NEW

For the 2018-19 school year, Jackson Charitable Foundation is teaming up with Ramsey Education to give 250 high schools complimentary access to Foundations in Personal Finance, a classroom-ready curriculum designed especially for high school students. Through this joint effort, more than 20,000 high school students across the country, will be exposed to hands-on lessons about using money in everyday life. Personal finance expert Dave Ramsey began Ramsey Education to address a concern he heard regularly when counseling adults on money issues, “I wish I had learned this in high school!”

New financial inspiration is added weekly to www.jacksoncharitablefoundation.org/for-grown-ups/ to help aid Americans in their journey toward a secure future.

New educational activities are added regularly to www.cha-chingusa.org for classroom and family activities.
