So tell us, what’s new?
As federal lawmakers release new tax reform proposals and many states implement the ones passed in their legislative sessions, TaxEDU is ensuring that taxpayers know how these changes in the tax code could affect them and their families. The best way to connect in this digital age is online, mainly through short-form video content. TaxEDU regularly produces videos designed for the classroom or for personal and professional education on the go.
Curious about how taxes work, when they originated, or how they impact you? Our videos utilize Tax Foundation experts and data to boil down income taxes, corporate taxes, tax filing, and more in 90 seconds or less.
As the school year approaches, TaxEDU will release a new educational video about the economic impact of different taxes and how no two taxes are the same.

What’s the impact this has had/or you hope it will have on moving financial literacy forward?
As new or changing tax policies are discussed in the news and government chambers, the average taxpayer can rely on TaxEDU materials to learn more about the debate and how these policies could impact their finances.
Additionally, students facing their first tax (likely a payroll or sales tax) can learn more about where they will likely encounter taxes, to factor them into their personal finance efforts.
By utilizing one of the most popular digital mediums today, we can better deliver a resource many don’t know they need and foster more financially literate taxpayers, students, and lawmakers.
