Jump$tart CEO Discusses Financial Education in Preschool

In a CNBC article, “Should Financial Education Begin in Preschool?” Jump$tart Coalition President and CEO Laura Levine addressed whether financial education belongs at home or school. She said:

“Optimally, personal finance would be taught in both the schools and at home. But as a community, we are lamenting the adult consumers who have made mistakes and are less financially literate than they wish or ought to be. Teaching in the classroom helps to level the playing field for those kids who don’t get it at home,” Levine said.
