FINANCIAL LITERACY DECISION MAKERS, STAKEHOLDERS TO PROMOTE KEY K-12 POLICY OBJECTIVES AT CAPITOL EVENT

WASHINGTON D.C.—The National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®) and the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy will host a bipartisan slate of legislative leaders and staff for Financial Literacy Day on Capital Hill on July 18. The event will feature members of the Congressional Financial Literacy and Wealth Creation Caucus who will discuss the major financial literacy and financial education issues facing the country. Attendees will learn about progress in the financial literacy effort and the resources available for educators,  students, and all those interested in improving financial education in schools. Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) and Rep. Young Kim (R-CA) will serve as the honorary co-hosts of the event.
