A Community of Classroom Educators

JSNEC is open to classroom teachers of Pre-K through 12th grade students, from anywhere in the U.S. and its territories, who teach personal finance or incorporate it into any subject.  The conference is designed to give teachers information, tools, ideas, and inspiration that they can put to use as soon as they return to school.  Whether you are new to teaching finance or a veteran; whether you’re a financial novice or an expert—JSNEC will offer content that meets your needs.  In addition to 15 professional development hours, JSNEC promotes networking between teachers, speakers, resource providers, and Jump$tart leadership—creating a community of support to last well beyond the event itself.

As an all-scholarship event, teachers interested in attending must either apply for a Jump$tart scholarship or have received a scholarship from one of our official Scholarship Providers.  Teachers who are awarded scholarships will receive conference registration instructions at that time.  Your hotel room is provided as part of your scholarship, so there’s no need to make reservations on your own.

To stay up to date on JSNEC announcements and information, follow @NatlJumpStart and #JSNEC19 on Facebook and Twitter and/or subscribe to our e-newsletters if you haven’t already. For more information, revisit the conference overview and contact Dan Hebert with any additional questions you have about #JSNEC19. Additionally, on our Check Your School website, tell us about the financial education offered where you teach.

Finally, and most importantly, accept our thanks for what you do in your classroom every day!
