2018 NEC Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the 2018 National Educator Scholarship recipients listed below.

To officially register for the conference and to select your sessions, you must use the registration link provided in your acceptance notification. For more information on sessions at this year’s conference, check out the conference brochure.

As a reminder, a refundable registration fee of $100 will be required; however, it will be refunded after the conference. (Conference no-shows will forfeit the deposit.) A non-refundable $125 guest fee also will be required for those bringing a guest.

Scholarship Reminders

Remember that in accepting this scholarship, all scholarship recipients agree to:

  • Travel and incidental ground transportation expenses are not included in the basic registration scholarships; however, some of the independent scholarship programs are covering various travel expenses. Please check with your scholarship provider if you’re unsure. If you plan to drive, please note that hotel parking fees are not included in your scholarship. (Scholarships do include two hotel nights and six conference meals.)
  • Complete the conference registration by September 20, 2018, which indicates your acceptance of the scholarship –or– notify the Jump$tart Coalition in writing of your decision to decline the scholarship by September 20, 2018 –or– contact the coalition directly to request additional time, if necessary.
  • Attend and participate fully in the entire conference and arrange travel accordingly.
  • Send a note of thanks to your scholarship provider.
