Aaron Standish is the K-12 Financial Literacy Coordinator for the School District of Palm Beach County, the 10th largest school district in the country. He oversees the implementation of financial literacy programs and activities in the District’s 180+ schools with 190,000+ students, where numerous financial education programs have been piloted or implemented at each elementary level, as well as middle school, high school and afterschool settings. Prior to beginning this role in 2014, he was a high school teacher for 13 years primarily teaching Economics with Financial Literacy and U.S. Government. He has a BS in Social Studies Education from Indiana University, and an MA in Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators from the University of Delaware. He also sits on the Florida Atlantic University Center for Economic Education Advisory Board and the Palm Beach County STEM Academic and Career Pathways Committee.
