Jump$tart Clearinghouse

Jump$tart’s online Clearinghouse is the nation’s most comprehensive collection of financial education resources suitable for students in pre-kindergarten through college.  All of the resources listing in the Clearinghouse have been reviewed for appropriateness, based on the National Standards in K-12 Personal Finance Education.

BestPrep – BestPrep prepares students with business, career and financial literacy skills through hands on experiences that inspire success in work and life. BestPrep offers six innovative programs: Classroom Plus, eMentors, Financial Matters, Minnesota Business Venture, The Stockmarket Game and the Technology Integration workshop.

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis – The Minneapolis Fed recognizes that personal financial education is a key component of a healthy economic system. Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest – Junior Achievement (JA) offers financial literacy, college and career readiness, and entrepreneurship education to K-12 students in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin. With proven programs delivered by more than 8,000 volunteer partners, JA provides young people with the real-world skills they want and need, like how to manage money, how to prepare for a career, and how to open and run a business.

Minnesota Council on Economic Education – The Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) provides economic and personal finance education to teachers, students, and communities. At the core of MCEE’s mission are programs for teachers to support their delivery of exceptional economic and personal finance education in the classroom. MCEE also has student competitions, camps, and curricula for secondary and elementary students.

TopLine Financial Credit Union – Since 1935 TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative dedicated to helping Twin Cities banking consumers achieve their financial goals.  TopLine does this offering free financial education workshops and are dedicated to the highest levels of personal service.

University of Minnesota Extension – The University of Minnesota Extension teaches families (and the professionals who help them) skills for making wiser decisions about their money and other financial resources today and in the future.
