Jump$tart Board Chair Scholarships

Created to honor past Chairs of the Jump$tart National Board of Directors, as well as the exemplary educators who embody the spirit of their leadership.

Jump$tart Board Chair Scholarship Recipients

The Jump$tart Coalition established its Board Chair Scholarship program as a tribute to the remarkable individuals who have served as chairpersons of Jump$tart’s national Board of Directors, while at the same time, recognizing deserving teachers whose achievements honor these leaders’ legacies. Each award reflects the unique characteristics of our distinguished past chairs and recognizes teachers who embody those qualities.

Recipients of Jump$tart’s Board Chair Scholarships receive special scholarships to the coming year’s Jump$tart National Educator Conference and serve onsite as Teacher Ambassadors, providing mentorship and support to other conference attendees. The first honorees were named in 2019, but fulfilled their roles in 2021, following the NEC’s COVID hiatus.
