We actively engage with people through social media, the Ask Experian blog, and more traditional ways to help share knowledge about credit reports, credit scores and other topics. And we provide innovative tools like Experian Boost, giving people greater control over their credit. Our goal is to help people improve their financial health and well-being.

Moving Financial Literacy Forward

As part of our commitment to financial literacy and reaching people where they are, Experian is continuously expanding our social media outreach. In addition to our weekly #CreditChat, which we have hosted for the past 10 years, we have recently added:

  • The Experian YouTube Channel, where you can view recorded credit Q&A sessions with Rod Griffin, Experian Senior Director of Consumer Education and Advocacy
  • #CreditChatLive-The Creditverse discussions with industry experts about a wide range of personal financial topics found in the universe of credit and personal finance. The events are hosted on CrowdCast at and livestreamed to our @Experian News Facebook page
  • New channels on Instagram and TikTok designed to reach a greater portion of the population, including younger adults.

Experian establishes strong relationships with national consumer financial education and inclusion organizations and advocacy groups that share our goals to help people and communities become more financially successful. We work with the organizations to maintain a positive dialogue about what we do and work as partners to extend our education outreach. We engage a wide range of audiences, including youth, credit invisibles and the unbanked, military personnel and veterans, minority communities and immigrant populations.

Experian’s Education Ambassador program equips Experian employees with the tools and knowledge they need to successfully manage their credit and to help spread credit education in the communities where they live and work. This volunteer-based program consists of hundreds of Experian employees who are available upon request to provide education on credit management, ways to avoid fraud and identity theft and more via in-person presentations or webinars. Nearly 800 employees have completed the training, thus far. To learn more about the program contact Christina Roman.

We will be happy to work with your organization if we have volunteers available in your area.
